When replacing the ostomy bag, the skin barrier should be gently uncovered and attached; the range should be accurately measured before cutting the skin barrier, and the size should be grasped as accurately as possible to achieve a tight fit; if leakage occurs, the skin barrier should be replaced in time to avoid overfilling the ostomy bag; If skin inflammation occurs, you should use skin care products or seek medical treatment in time; choose appropriate stoma products under the guidance of professionals.
①Remove the ostomy bag: From top to bottom, use the adhesive peeling agent for the stoma tray, and gently peel off the stoma tray by pressing the skin with one hand and the other hand. Do not quickly and violently remove the stoma skin barrier.
② Check the stoma skin barrier and the skin around the stoma for feces. If the feces and the skin barrier dissolve, the replacement time can be shortened by 1-2 days.
③Clean the stoma: Use a wet tissue to clean the stoma mucosa and surrounding skin, and remove the feces and glue remaining on the skin.
④Measure the size: Use the stoma measuring ruler to accurately measure the size of the stoma, and it is necessary to measure the size of the root of the stoma.
⑤Cut the skin barrier: After accurately measuring the size of the stoma, the cutting size should be larger than 1~2mm of the measured size. If the actual measurement is 35mm, it needs to be cut by 36~37mm. After cutting, use your fingers to round off the burrs left after cutting.
⑥Use of stoma accessory products: spray skin protection powder, apply evenly with a dry cotton swab and sweep away the floating powder; spray skin protection spray, covering the skin covered by the stoma skin barrier, pay attention to avoid the stoma mucosa when spraying; add it if necessary The plastic sticking ring, the skin depression is properly thickened to prevent the leakage of the skin barrier.
⑦Attaching the ostomy bag: Remove the backing paper of the stoma skin barrier, paste the stoma skin barrier from bottom to top, and press clockwise to reinforce. (Open ostomy bags need to close the discharge valve in advance).
⑧ Reinforce the stoma skin barrier: place your hand on the stoma and press gently for 20 minutes to make the stoma skin barrier stick more firmly.
